'Breeze Technologies names new U.S. distributor
Breeze Technologies
has named LEL Computer Systems in Boca Raton,
Fla., as its new U.S. distributor. The U.K.-based
video compression manufacturer selected
LEL for its range of MPEG video encoders.
Offering MPEG-1,
MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 encoding and decoding
on the same PCI board, the products also
boast S-video, composite, SDI input/output,
including embedded digital audio, real-time
preview in VGA or video, pre-filtering,
time base correction and caption/graphics
overlay. Compression rates range from 150kbps
to 15 Mb/s and resolution from QSIF to full
D1.
Each board
is shipped with the company’s PowerStream
plug-and-play installation and control software
providing encoder set-up, IP addressing,
simultaneous file-and-stream, auto-start
and scheduling facilities. System integrators
also get direct access to software support
and SDK.
